Announcements

Following the official authorization granted to the University of Patras for the continuation in 2026 of the five-year (2025–2029) programme of systematic archaeological investigation at the archaeological site of Strongyli, Arta, conducted in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Arta [Hellenic Ministry of Culture / Protocol No. 55786, 26.02.2026], it is hereby announced that the excavation season will take place from 21 August to 17 September 2026.

Students are requested to submit a declaration of availability no later than 10 March 2026, in order to facilitate the formation of two excavation teams. Expressions of interest must be submitted exclusively by electronic mail to the Director of the Excavation at: hmerantz@upatras.gr

Κατόπιν χορήγησης άδειας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών για συνέχιση κατά το 2026 του πενταετούς προγράμματος (2025-2029) συστηματικής αρχαιολογικής έρευνας στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο της Στρογγυλής Άρτας σε συνεργασία με την Εφορεία Αρχαιοτήτων Άρτας [ΥΠΠΟ / αριθμός πρωτοκόλλου 55786, 26.02.2026] ανακοινώνεται ότι η ανασκαφική περίοδος θα διαρκέσει από 21.08 έως και 17.09. Παρακαλούνται οι φοιτήτριες / τές να δηλώσουν τη διαθεσιμότητά τους μέχρι 10.03.2026 το αργότερο, ώστε να δημιουργηθούν δύο ανασκαφικές ομάδες. Η δήλωση γίνεται αποκλειστικά στο ηλεκτρονικό ταχυδρομείο του υπευθύνου της ανασκαφής: hmerantz@upatras.gr
